Amerisure Appoints Several Key Executives

                               Farmington Hills, MI (WorkersCompensation.com) - Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company, one of the nation's leading property and casualty insurance companies, announced today the following appointments, effective immediately:
  • Barbara Cristea, Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Amy Henning, Vice President of Internal Audit
  • Laura Pierman, Assistant Vice President of Claims Operational and Systems Management
  • Alan W. Rauch, Assistant Vice President of Claims—Property, Material Damage and Subrogation

Cristea was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. In addition to her ongoing role of corporate forecasting, budgeting and Amerisure's annual planning process, she now assumes responsibility for agency financial statements, financial analysis for all corporate and operational initiatives and investment accounting. Cristea has been with Amerisure for six years and recently served as Director of Budgeting and Planning. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, Ohio, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Henning was promoted from Senior Business Process Consultant to Vice President of Internal Audit. In her new position, she is responsible for leading Amerisure's audit functions. During the past 14 years, Henning served as an Internal Audit Manager, Financial Reporting Manager and Control Assessment Manager. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and is a CPA and Certified Internal Auditor. In addition, Henning holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Pierman was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Claims Operational and Systems Management and has been with Amerisure for more than 22 years. In her new role, she is responsible for the overall management of the Company's Express Claims Center; the Claim department interface with Information Technology; and the execution of the Claim department service strategy. During her tenure she held a variety of positions, and most recently served as the Claim Facility Manager of the Farmington Hills Core Service Center (CSC). A graduate of the University of Michigan, Pierman holds a Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) designation. In 2011, she was appointed by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and currently serves as a Board Member to the Automobile Theft Prevention Authority (ATPA).

Rauch joins Amerisure as Assistant Vice President of Claims—Property, Material Damage and Subrogation, overseeing the Amerisure Property line of business for Claims, Material Damage program and the Subrogation department. With more than 20 years of insurance experience, he most recently was Assistant Vice President of Commercial Property and Inland Marine Claims for a provider of commercial property and casualty insurance and reinsurance in Georgia. Rauch earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts and holds Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and CPCU designations.
