Alaska Extends Use Of Dec. 2004 Medical Fee Schedule

Juneau, AK (CompNewsNetwork) - The Department of Labor and Workforce Development has adopted emergency regulations extending use of the December 2004 Workers' Compensation Medical Fee Schedule through October 1, 2011.
 
A fee or other charge for medical treatment or service provided on or after December 31, 2010, but before October 1, 2011 [JULY 1, 2011], may not exceed board's fees as of December 1, 2004, adjusted by the percentage change from 2004 to 2008 in the medical care component of the Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers compiled by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.
