Alaska AG Confirmed By Legislature

Juneau, AK (WorkersCompensation.com) - Following today's floor vote confirming 87 appointments to various boards and commissions throughout the state, Governor Sean Parnell issued the following statement:

“I appreciate the unanimous vote of support for Attorney General Michael Geraghty,” Governor Parnell said. “The diverse experience and skills represented by the Alaskans confirmed today are a welcome addition to our boards and commissions, and I appreciate their willingness to serve. I am disappointed my appointee to the Board of Game did not receive confirmation. Lynn Keogh has been an effective member of the board and I appreciate his service.”

Appointees confirmed by the Legislature today represent Alaska at-large, and reside in all areas of Alaska, including Kaktovik, Kiana, Unalaska, and Ketchikan.
