Willis Group Announces Appointment To Construction Team In Midwest

New York, NY (CompNewsNetwork) - Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, today announced the appointment of Karen Frankel as Senior Vice President in the Construction Practice Group of Willis Americas, effective immediately.  Frankel’s responsibilities will include project insurance sales, marketing, and related client service oversight.

Karen Frankel brings 28 years of experience with her to the position.  Before joining Willis she worked as a National Wrap-Up Brokerage Placement Specialist with Marsh USA. Her experience includes managing the national wrap-up practices at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and Alexander & Alexander, Inc.  Frankel also spent three years on the construction side as a project accountant, estimator and project manager for two large general contracting firms, giving her a unique perspective of the construction industry.
