TRISTAR Announces Leadership and Partnership Milestones with Kids’ Chance

TRISTAR is proud to celebrate two milestones with Kids’ Chance:
Leadership: Tammy Boyd, TRISTAR’s Regional Business Development and Client Services Director, has been appointed as the next President of Kids’ Chance of Florida, starting in 2026. Tammy has been part of the organization since 2017, serving as an ambassador and Treasurer before stepping into this leadership role.
“My passion for Kids’ Chance of Florida comes from my own life experiences. Losing my brother and then my mother as a teenager taught me firsthand what it feels like to face loss and uncertainty. That’s why this mission is so close to my heart—I want every child we serve to know they’re not alone and that their future is still full of possibilities.”
Partnership: TRISTAR recently committed $100,000 over four years to Kids’ Chance of America, supporting scholarships for children whose parents have been seriously or fatally injured on the job.
Kids’ Chance of Florida, founded in 2015, is gearing up to celebrate ‘A Decade of Impact’ in 2025, including 20 scholarships totaling $78,000 for the 2025–2026 academic year—the largest in a single year. Since its inception, it has awarded 105 scholarships totaling $453,000, with an average of $4,000 per scholarship. The organization’s 5th Annual Golf Tournament raised $87,000 in 2025, with 21 sponsors and 70% of golfers returning annually.
Together, these milestones reflect TRISTAR’s dedication to our industry, communities, and the families who need us most. We are proud to stand with Kids’ Chance in building brighter futures through education.
