Texas Workers’ Compensation Educational Session Offered In Abilene on August 19

Austin, TX (CompNewsNetwork) - The Abilene Field Office of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI-DWC) is hosting a brown bag educational session for health care providers, employers, human resource managers, claims adjusters, case managers and employee organizations on Tuesday, August 19, 2008.  The topic is the Designated Doctor: What They Do and What Is New.  This free session will be held from 11:50 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Texas Health and Human Services Complex, Room K-101, 4601 South 1st Street in Abilene. Following a presentation the session is an open forum in which participants can ask questions.
