Texas Return-to-Work Meeting for System Participants to be Held in Houston on June 10

                               

Austin, TX  (CompNewsNetwork) - Texas Dept of Workers Compensation announces Return-to-Work Meeting. Dr. Jennifer Christian, founder and chair of the non-profit The 60 Summits Project, will facilitate a meeting for health care providers, vocational rehabilitation specialists, employers, human resources managers, claim adjusters, case managers and employee organizations on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. The meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Marriot Houston Westchase, 2900 Briarpark Drive in Houston. The meeting will discuss stay-at-work and return-to-work issues in the workers’ compensation system and their relationship to a new work disability prevention model. In addition, the meeting will gauge workers’ compensation system participants’ interest in convening a full 60 Summits Project meeting in Texas.
