Specialty Risk Services Names Jim Ryan Senior Vice President Of Field Operations

Hartford, CT (CompNewsNetwork) - Specialty Risk Services (SRS), one of the nation's leading property-casualty third party administrators for workers' compensation and liability claims, has named James P. Ryan to the position of senior vice president of Field Operations, reporting to Joe Boures, president.
Ryan will be responsible for SRS' field organization of approximately 1,400 claims and medical professionals and ensure the consistent, efficient and superior delivery of our claims management services countrywide. In his new role, he will also be responsible for providing oversight to SRS' claims intake, medical bill review and medical network development services.
A finance graduate of Drexel University, Ryan joined SRS in 1998 as director of one of SRS' dedicated client programs. In 1999, he was appointed director of the King of Prussia office, and in 2003, he was promoted to regional vice president, responsible for operations in the eastern half of the country. Prior to joining SRS, Ryan worked as a claim supervisor and quality assurance manager for a third party administrator in Philadelphia.
