SHPS Receives Re-Accreditation From URAC

LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- SHPS announced today that it has earned re-accreditation for five of its Carewise Health programs from URAC, a Washington, DC-based healthcare accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the healthcare industry. The five programs to receive URAC re-accreditation are: case management, disease management, utilization management, workers' compensation utilization management, and health call center.

"URAC accreditation is critical to the success of our Carewise Health programs. It illustrates our ability to provide high-quality health management services to our customers."

Carewise Health specializes in employee health solutions. By combining multiple health management services into one holistic program, Carewise Health is able to co-manage all of the lifestyle and clinical issues that affect a person's health. This unique approach improves personal health and reduces employer healthcare costs.
