Tampa, FL
(CompNewsNetwork) - The National Workers' Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN) has
scheduled a complimentary two day seminar to be held in Tampa, Florida. This seminar and
related functions, to be held October 15-16, 2008 at the Westin Harbor Island Hotel, are
being offered free of charge to Clients and Friends of NWCDN member firms.
The NWCDN is a nationwide and Canadian network of independent
law firms. It was created to provide an organization where reputable law firms of the
highest reputation and expertise could form a comprehensive network to provide employers
and insurers access to the highest quality representation in workers' compensation and
related employer liability fields. This seminar is another in a series of successful events
offered by the group, designed to further educate and assist employers and insurance
professionals about current trends and issues in workers' compensation. The groups last
event, in Hartford, CT, drew almost 200 attendees.
The schedule this fall includes sessions entitled
'Return to Work Strategies with Emphasis on Problem Employees', 'Understanding
Subrogation and How to Make It Work for You', 'Getting Rid of “Old Dog” Cases', and
'Improving the Working Relationship Between an Adjuster and Counsel on Day to Day
Claims'.
A complete program schedule and more information may be found here (PDF).
