Margo Black Appointed CEO For Willis’ Reinsurance Operations In Brazil

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil  (CompNewsNetwork) -  Willis International Holdings (WIH), the international division of global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), today announced the appointment of Margo Black as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for their reinsurance operations in Brazil. Margo will be responsible primarily for the technical and sales development of wholesale business in Brazil, using the local platform to access the specialist capabilities of the Willis. She will also represent the Group's treaty division, Willis Re, in expanding their client offering in the newly-opened Brazilian reinsurance marketplace. Margo will be based in the Group's Rio de Janeiro offices.

With over 30 years experience in the international reinsurance market, Margo has worked in Germany, Great Britain and Latin America. She joins from Allianz Brazil where she was the main board director responsible for the insurer's Global and Corporate Division managing corporate risks, large brokers, global programmes and commercial reinsurance matters. Previous to Allianz Margo was Chief Operating Officer for the JLT Group and was responsible for the Latin American division.
