GAB Robins Names Baumgartner as General Counsel

                               

Parsippany, NJ (CompNewsNetwork) - GAB Robins, a leader in providing global risk and claims management services, today named Harry Baumgartner as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Baumgartner will provide legal counsel to all of the GAB Robins companies worldwide.

Mr. Baumgartner most recently served as the Director of Risk Management at BASF Corporation.  While at BASF, he also served as Corporate Counsel.  Prior to joining BASF, he served as an attorney in private practice for Shanley and Fisher, concentrating on insurance coverage law.  He also worked for AT&T.  He began his career as a journalist and served as the Managing Editor of The Courier-Journal in Jupiter, Florida, and the News Editor/Copy Desk Chief of The Daily Record in Morristown, New Jersey.

Mr. Baumgartner earned a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and a juris doctorate from Seton Hall University.  He also earned a master's in business administration from Centenary College.
