NEW YORK, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- EpsteinBeckerGreen, one of nation's leading Labor and Employment law firms, announced today the launch of a new blog that provides news, analysis and discussion of key developments in wage and hour law that affect businesses throughout the country.

"Because wage and hour suits have become more prevalent than ever in recent years, and increasingly complex, keeping fully informed of developments in the area is critical for employers," said Michael Kun, a Member of the Firm in EpsteinBeckerGreen's Labor and Employment practice and National Chairperson of the Firm's Wage and Hour and Collective Action Practice Group. "We saw a real need for this blog as way to keep clients and friends up to date on this fast developing area of law."

The Wage & Hour Defense Blog (http://www.wagehourblog.com/) covers the entire range of issues connected with wage and hour law, including court decisions, new and proposed legislation, and trends in class actions, collective actions and enforcement.

The multitude of wage and hour claims and lawsuits that workers have filed under the Fair Labor Standards Act and its state law counterparts have made wage and hour law the nation's fastest growing type of litigation. All industries have been susceptible to these lawsuits. The Wage & Hour Defense Blog is intended to serve as a resource for employers and others on issues such as compliance, litigation and training.
