DWC Posts Adjustments to Official Medical Fee Schedule (DMEPOS)

San Berdanido,CA ( WorkersCompensation.com) - The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to conform to the Quarter 4, 2022 change in the Medicare payment system as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.

The order, which is effective for services on or after October 1, 2022, adopts the Medicare revised DMEPOS file and the updated rural ZIP code file. There were no Medicare changes to the file for the parenteral/enteral nutrition file; therefore the annual update remains in effect for those products.

The order adopting the adjustment can be found on DWC’s DMEPOS fee schedule web page.
