Donovan Nowell Named To Lead Noodle Specialty Brokers

New York, NY  (CompNewsNetwork) -  Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, today announced that Donovan Nowell has been named to lead Noodle Specialty Brokers, the program management division of InsuranceNoodle™.  Nowell, a key member of the Willis North America Executive Risks practice, helped the company build its first MGA program under the Noodle Specialty Brokers banner.  He also becomes a Senior Vice President of Willis North America's Commercial operations.

Most recently, Nowell led the company's Executive Risks unit that focused on small and medium size enterprises.  Prior to joining Willis, he held underwriting and claims roles with two major directors and officers liability insurers.

Commenting on Nowell's appointment, Don Bailey, Willis North America's CEO, said: “One of the many attractions to us of the InsuranceNoodle™ acquisition was the platform it had built to design, underwrite and administer insurance programs with delegated underwriting authority.  Donovan's background and skills make him well-suited to lead this operation for Willis.”

Added Tom Ealy, Executive Vice President of Willis North America's Commercial and Consumer Segments, “Donovan was instrumental in launching the first of many MGA programs that offer our clients industry-leading coverage terms at competitive prices that also bolster Willis's organic growth.  Our next product is already under construction.”
