Carlson Joins Willis In Chicago To Strengthen Private Equity And Complex Risk Segments

New York, NY  (CompNewsNetwork) - Willis Group Holdings Limited (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, today announced the appointment of Brett Carlson in Willis' Risk Solutions Practice, and Senior Vice President, Willis of Illinois Inc.  Based in Chicago, Carlson's responsibilities will focus on client development in the Private Equity and Complex Risk segments throughout North America.  He will report to Joe Gunn, Chief Growth Officer, and Executive Vice President, Willis North America Inc. 

Carlson brings over 20 years of experience to his new position with Willis. He joins the company from Aon Risk Services, where he worked for 18 years and was most recently Senior Vice President in charge of risk management and employee benefit programs for large middle market and Fortune 1000 organizations. Carlson began his career at Marsh.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, Carlson is a Chicago Alumni Board Member of his school.
