California Gov. Schwarzenegger Issues Statement On Death Of San Bernardino County Fire Department Captain Vance Tomaselli

(CompNewsNetwork) - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today released the following
statement regarding the death of San Bernardino County Fire Department Captain Vance
Tomaselli of Angelus Oaks, CA:
"Captain Vance Tomaselli never hesitated to
put his life on the line to save others. His selflessness, dedication and courage in the
face of danger remind all Californians of the heroic acts performed by our firefighters to
keep us safe. Maria and I express our deepest condolences to Captain Tomaselli's loved
ones and fellow firefighters as they mourn the loss of one of California's finest."
Tomaselli, 66, died Feb. 21 as the result of a stroke he suffered while responding to a structure fire in Angelus Oaks, CA on Feb. 16. He served with the San Bernardino County Fire Department for 27 years. He is survived by his two children.
In honor of Captain Tomaselli, Capitol flags will be flown at half-staff.
