Subrogation Recovery Concepts in North Carolina

Subrogation within the contexts of workers' compensation and liability claims can allow an insurer to recoup costs from a third-party. While successful subrogation can mean a refund for the insurer, the complexity of litigation can cause complications which frustrate that recovery. This presentation will address the impact of UM/UIM policies as well as contributory negligence defenses within North Carolina subrogation claims, and aims to provide practical strategies for adjusters handling these recovery efforts.

This course has been approved for 1.0 General CE Hour for North Carolina adjusters (home state designation only), is free to all attendees, and applicable to all levels of experience. Presenters for this webinar will be Teague Campbell attorneys Scott Farwell and Megan Silver.
