RIMS Golden Gate Chapter – Combating the Evolving Cyber Threat

We are excited to finally have our first in person meeting.  Scott Hellman of the San Francisco division of the FBI will be talking about the malicious cyber activity that threatens the public safety & our national and economic security.  Most common threats include:

• Ransomware
• Social engineering
• Phishing
• Business email compromise
• SIM swapping

Scott will discuss the cost of each of these threats, and how companies/individuals can protect and become more resilient.
