Nevada Workers’ Compensation Basic Orientation training session- PM Session

The State of Nevada Workers’ Compensation Section Workers’ Compensation Basic Orientation training session will be held on Tuesday April 13, 2021 online via Webex.  We are offering two sessions on the same day, in the morning at 9:00 a.m. and in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. The orientation usually lasts about two hours. Two hours of CLE credit have been approved for this session by the Nevada Board of Continuing Legal Education.

This session covers the basic regulatory process for workers’ compensation and includes a description of the forms needed when a workplace injury or occupational disease occurs.

To make reservations for the class, register for the Basic Orientation AM Session  or  Basic Orientation PM Session. You may also enroll by emailing Krissi Lowry @ klowry@dir.nv.gov. Once you are registered you will receive link and instructions in order to join the training session. We encourage you to log in at least 15 minutes prior to the training.
