About this event

Type: Recorded, non-credit webinar

Date: April 23, 2020

Time: 1 p.m. EST

Duration: 45 minutes

Spokespeople: Kim Radcliffe, Kevin Glennon, Hayley Tidwell

Summary/Objectives:

Despite COVID-19’s impact on the workers’ compensation industry, there are proactive steps you can take now to keep injured workers on the road to recovery. In particular, this session will address deferred surgeries. With healthcare currently focused on COVID-19 and emergency needs, any injured worker surgery deemed as “elective” has been put on-hold.

There will be a time when COVID-19 restrictions lift and surgeries are rescheduled. In this session, we will discuss what you can do now to be prepared, including:

  • Properly addressing injured worker functionality and treating symptoms until surgery

  • Importance of proactive care coordination

  • A solution in CarePath™ Surgical PathwaySM
