Annual Educational Conference (Virtual)

                       

Join us as we celebrate 101 years serving the workers' compensation community!

This year's annual conference will be held virtually on August 30 & 31, 2021. On behalf of our newly appointed Chairman Judge Ben Vinson, Directors Judge Frank McKay and Judge Neera Bahl, and Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Delece Brooks, the Board presents the 2021 Annual Educational Conference which will include an informative program developed by our Steering Committee.

Conference topics will include teleworking and telemedicine during the pandemic, the impact of communication on outcomes for the injured worker, diversity's impact on claims handling and claims results, the ever popular “Live Oral Arguments” and a special Ethics session that will include a panel of longtime legends in the workers' compensation system. 

Participants will also be able to virtually visit and chat with other attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors, in addition to having the opportunity to win raffles and prizes!

August 3, 2021 – The State Bar of Georgia CLE department has approved the 2021 Annual Educational Conference (Virtual) for 7.0 Regular Trial CLE hours and 2.0 Ethics hours. The hours will be submitted electronically. The fees will be covered by the State Board of Workers’ Compensation.

August 4, 2021 – The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC & CVE) has approved the 2021 Annual Educational Conference (Virtual) for 9.0 clock hours. Certificates will be emailed after the event.

 

August 9, 2021 – The Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) has approved the 2021 Annual Educational Conference (Virtual) for 9.0 credit hours. Certificates will be emailed after the event.

August 13, 2021 - The Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) has approved the 2021 Annual Educational Conference (Virtual) for 9.0 Specific Credit Hours: HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, PHRi™, GPHR™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute’s® (HRCI®). Certificates will be emailed after the event.

August 17, 2021 – The Commission for Case Manager Certification for Certified Management Specialists (CDMS) has approved the 2021 Annual Educational Conference (Virtual) for 9.0 credit hours. Certificates will be emailed after the event.
