21st Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Education Conference

                       

Registration is now open and the agenda is now set for the 21st WC Educational Conference. The theme for this year's conference is "Building a Better Tomorrow" and it will be conducted one week earlier than in the past. Sessions will delve into the changing dynamics taking place in the workplace - multi-generations in the same workforce, increased use of robots and Artifical Intelligence, aging workers and their needs, the need to approach claims handling differently based on demographics - are just a few topics.

It will feature speakers from across the state and across the continent.  

  • Dr. Marcos Iglesias, Sr. VP and Chief Medical officer for Broadspire will discuss disability prevention intervention that addresses injured workers’ psychosocial risk factors 
  • Kevin Glennon, VP, Clinical Programs for One Call Care Management will present “Managing the Needs of the Aging Injured Worker” 
  • Jessica Stollings, President of ReGenerations, will present “The Generational Advantage” From Conflict to Competitive Edge” 
  • Terry Bryson, Vice President, Motlow State Community College will discuss the impact that technology, robotics and artificial intelligence is having on the worksite and injury reduction
