2022 PSIA Annual Meeting

Join us for the Annual Meeting at the Wyndham Gettysburg, on October 9th and 10th, and be inspired by Brad Hurtig. a renowned workplace ethics and safety speaker who lost both of his hands to a workplace accident at age 17.

As our Keynote speaker, Brad will kick off our Annual Meeting on Sunday evening with “Find a Way,” a presentation that is sure to inspire and impress. Raised in a small town in Northwestern Ohio, Brad was a successful student-athlete with a promising future when a faulty safety sensor in the factory he was working at caused both of his forearms to be caught beneath a heavy-duty power press, resulting in the tragic amputation of both hands.

Lucky to survive, Brad faced a difficult road to recovery and the possibility of never being able to play sports again. Fortunately, he kept a positive outlook and not only got back on the field, but led his varsity football team’s defense in his final year of high school, recording an astonishing 111 tackles in one season and receiving all-state honors.

Today, Brad strives to find a way to prevent workplace accidents like his from happening. You don’t want to miss his inspiring message, so please plan on joining us at the Wyndham Gettysburg for our 2022 Annual Meeting, which will also include our Welcome Reception on Sunday evening and a full program of educational sessions on Monday.
