2021 VIRTUAL Oregon Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference

Virtual conference: Oct. 19-21 (For convenience, the recorded sessions are also available online for paid attendees through Nov. 5, 2021.)

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division, with sponsorship from the International Workers’ Compensation Foundation, will be holding the 2021 Oregon Workers’ Compensation Education Conference as a virtual event. The conference is designed to enhance understanding of the Oregon workers’ compensation system and improve processes and services that affect injured workers and employers. The sessions cover topics of interest for the entire workers’ compensation community. The conference also includes a virtual exhibitor hall featuring service providers, and there are also sponsorship opportunities.

Who should attend?

Employers, attorneys, safety and human resource managers, insurers, self-insurers, third-party administrators, claim-closure service providers, insurance agents, injured workers, union representatives, medical providers, service-provider staff who handle billing and documentation, managed care organizations, and vocational rehabilitation providers are encouraged to attend. In fact, anyone with a professional interest in the workers’ compensation system in Oregon will receive valuable information at this conference.

Miscellaneous information Continuing-education units: Continuing-education credits are available to attorneys, claims examiners, HR professionals, and rehabilitation providers who have completed their required courses, and certificates of attendance are available for other disciplines.

Cancellation and refund policy: Written cancellations and requests for refunds must be received at IWCF in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after Friday, Oct. 8, 2021; the full registration fee will be forfeited if you do not attend. Substitution of personnel is recommended in lieu of cancellation after Oct. 8, 2021.
