In this Tech Talk episode, we sit down with Bob Bowdon, CEO of VerityPay, and Kirsten Knull, CRO of VerityPay to explore one of the most overlooked — and increasingly risky — stages of the claims lifecycle: the last mile of claims resolution.
While claims organizations have modernized decisioning and adjudication, claims payments are still often still manual, slow, and fragmented with issuance via paper checks, and email creating friction and risk. Bob discusses how new solutions can reduce exposure to check fraud, lost checks, reissuance delays, and poor claimant experiences that prolong closure and increase downstream legal and operational risk.
This conversation focuses on practical realities facing claims, legal, and finance teams today — and why modernizing claims payments is becoming a strategic priority for organizations that care about speed, compliance, and customer experience.
