  James Cousins is a litigator focusing his practice, and entire career, on the defense of employers in workers' compensation claims across all of New York state. James has extensive experience litigating all issues that arise throughout a workers' compensation claim in New York: from expedited "rocket docket" ANCR litigation to complex, multiparty Section 44 apportionment claims. James has handled cases over the last decade from pre-filing investigation all the way through to the Appellate Division, Third Department, where he has won a series of notable cases on behalf of his client. James is a frequent lecturer and speaks frequently about the intricacies and complexity of NY Workers’ Compensation litigation.
