WCRI Set To Participate At 69th Annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference

Cambridge, MA (WorkersCompensation.com) - Dr. Richard Victor, executive director of the Workers Compensation Research Institute (WCRI), is set to participate in two sessions at the 69th Annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference (WCEC). The conference is being held August 17 - 20, 2014, at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, FL.

“It is an honor to be joining so many distinguished individuals at such an important forum,” said Dr. Victor. “In one session, I will be presenting WCRI's latest research on the critical issues impacting the nation's workers' compensation systems in 2014. In the other, I will be joining a well-respected panel of experts, moderated by David North of Sedgwick, to discuss the Affordable Care Act's projected impact on the workers' compensation system.”

“The past year has been an especially active one for workers' compensation in a number of states and for a variety of issues. And, as always, the workers' compensation community has relied on WCRI's research and analyses to keep us informed and to provide context to the content. We look forward to both of Dr. Victor's sessions this year, and appreciate his and WCRI's continued commitment to the conference,” says WCEC General Chairman James N. McConnaughhay.
