Texas Division of Insurance Issues Call for Presenters for 2019 Workers' Comp Conference

Austin, TX (WorkersCompensation.com) – The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation, has issued a Call for Presenters for its scheduled 2019 Workers’ Compensation Conference, to be held in Irving, TX June 26-28, 2019.

The agency is for looking for thought leaders with engaging presentations on innovations that can improve workplace safety and the quality of the Texas workers’ compensation system. Topics should be of interest to health care providers, employers, attorneys, insurance carriers, risk managers, and other safety professionals. Submissions are due by 9/28/18.

  • Presenters must submit a summary of the topic with learning objectives and a biography by 9/28/18.
  • Presenters must be knowledgeable about the topics they present.
  • All content must be factual, and statistics should be cited and up-to-date.
  • All copyright permissions must be in place before submission.
  • Presenters must exhibit a high level of professionalism.
  • Presentations must not include solicitation on behalf of an individual, vendor, product, or commercial activity.
  • Presenters may submit more than one presentation topic.
