TDI-DWC Hosts Educational Sessions on Pharmacy Closed Formulary

                               

 

Austin, TX (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI-DWC) is hosting educational sessions entitled Transition of Legacy Claims to the Pharmacy Closed Formulary at its field offices around the state in June as part of its continuing outreach and education on the pharmacy closed formulary.

The educational sessions are for all Texas workers' compensation participants, including: health care providers, pharmacists, insurance carriers, claim adjusters, case managers and attorneys. The free sessions will provide information on the initial applicability and results of the pharmacy closed formulary rules, with a special focus on the transition of legacy claims to the closed formulary.
