Su Davis to Retire After 21 Years of Service with the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court

Lincoln, NE (WorkersCompensation.com) - Su Davis will retire on May 1, 201 5 after serving 21 years managing the Public Information section of the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court. The court extends its appreciation and thanks to Su for her many years of service.
Su joined the court to manage the newly created Public Information section in February 1 994. Under Su's direction and guidance, the Public Information section has had primary responsibility for providing education to the public regarding Nebraska workers' compensation law and procedural rules via the court's toll-free information line, e-mail help desk, web site, publications, workshops, and seminars. It has also provided access to public records maintained by the court and been responsible for processing and analyzing injury and payment reports submitted to the court.
Su is a graduate of University of Nebraska—Lincoln (BA, 1 986; MA in Sociology, 1 989). Su has been an active participant in the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) for 20 years, serving more than seven years as Chair of the Council of Committee Chairs. She has also been a member of ARMA International, an association of records managers and administrators, for 1 0 years. During the course of her membership, she served as the ARMA Nebraska Chapter's Librarian and Archivist for two years and as Secretary for two years. Her other professional memberships have included the National Managment Assocation, Nebraska State Government Chapter, and Toastmasters International, Lincoln, Nebraska, Chapter.
A reception will be held in Su's honor on Friday, May 1, 201 5, 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., at the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court Administrative Offices, 1 221 ‘N' Street, Second Floor Conference Room, in Lincoln.
