Spencer Educational Foundation To Honor Risk And Insurance Leaders At Annual Gala

New York, NY (WorkersCompensation.com) - Spencer Educational Foundation, Inc. will host its fourth annual fundraising gala on September 12, 2012, at The Waldorf-Astoria New York. During the event, the foundation will honor Seraina Maag, chief executive – North America property and casualty for XL Insurance, and David Zuercher, retired head of insurance for Wells Fargo and Company, for their contributions to the advancement of risk management and insurance educational opportunities.

The Spencer Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization affiliated with RIMS that funds the education of tomorrow's risk management and insurance leaders. Since 1979, the foundation has awarded more than $4.7 million in scholarships to undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students as well as risk managers and provided more than $2.1 million in grants.
