SC Issues Advisory Announcement: Mediation Regulations Effective June 28, 2013

Columbia, SC (WorkersCompensation.com) - The new Mediation Regulations (R 4286) were published in the South Carolina State Register on June 28, 2013, and are now in effect.

Click here to view the Mediation Regulations. Forms 21, 30, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, and 58 have been revised. Form 22, Claimant's Answer to Request for Hearing, and Form 70, Mediator Report, are new forms created specifically for the mediation process. All revised and new forms are posted on the Commission's website.

The Commission will conduct a series of workshops in Columbia, Greenville and Charleston in September to review the regulations and administrative procedures. Date, time, and location and registration information for the workshops will be announced at later date.
