Ruth Estrich To Discuss Aging Workforce Issues In Workers' Comp

King of Prussia, PA (WorkersCompensation.com) - As the American workforce continues to age, employers, healthcare and workers' comp professionals are challenged to develop specific injury prevention and return-to-work initiatives for this growing population. On Sept. 18, MedRisk's Ruth Estrich will address these issues at Encore Unlimited's Major Trends in Workers' Compensation Conference in West Des Moines, Iowa. MedRisk is a leading managed care company specializing in the physical rehabilitation of injured workers 

During her session, Estrich, chief strategy officer at MedRisk, will outline the key components of an effective physical medicine management program in workers' compensation and explain why professionals need to adjust expectations and treatment protocols for older workers. She'll also offer steps that employers, payers and case managers can take to help reduce injury frequency and severity among the aging workforce.
