Pinnacol Grants More Than $137,000 to Colorado Nonprofits

Denver, CO (WorkersCompensation.com) - Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s leading workers’ compensation insurance insurer, awarded grants totaling more than $137,000, benefitting more than a dozen Colorado nonprofits, to help injured workers get back to work and stay healthy, and to ensure that Colorado has the robust business climate and workforce it needs.

Listed within their grant category, the first round of 2018 grant recipients are:

Discover Goodwill of Southern and Western Colorado

Junior Achievement

Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges System — through this grant, the foundation provides scholarships to the following colleges: Colorado Northwestern Community College (4 scholarships), Front Range Community College (4 scholarships), Lamar Community College (2 scholarships), Otero Junior College (2 scholarships), Pueblo Community College (6 scholarships), Trinidad State Junior College (4 scholarships).

In addition to the nine new grants, Pinnacol is managing continuing grants made to organizations including Sedgwick County Economic Development and Colorado Mesa University Foundation.
