OR Compensable Claims Characteristics Brochure Update

Portland, OR (CompNewsNetwork) - In 2008, the Department of Consumer and Business Services received notification of 21,660 accepted disabling claims for occupational injuries and diseases that entitled workers to compensation for disability or death. The 2008 Accepted Disabling Claim Characteristics brochure with summary statistics on counts, fatalities, industry, and other facts is now available on-line.  A Spanish version will be available later this year.
