Madison, WI (WorkersCompensation.com) - The IAIABC and NAWCJ (National Association of Workers' Compensation Judiciary) are proud to host a joint Judicial Program, September 30 - October 1, as part of the IAIABC 99th Annual Convention in San Diego, CA.
Experts will share their insights and experiences during sessions on:
- Evidence for Adjudicators: Gain a deeper understanding of the rules of evidence and applying them in your courtroom
- Mediation Basics and Practice: Learn the fundamentals of mediation and how it can be used to fairly and expeditiously resolve disputes
- Appeals: View From Above: Get insight on how to persuade (and not irritate) appeals judges
- Judges' Roundtable: Appreciate frank discussion on current adjudicatory issues including new technology and dealing with difficult parties
The Judicial Program will be most valuable to workers' compensation judges and directors of adjudication or mediation. Senior regulators with management responsibility over adjudication will also benefit from attending.
Registration for the Judicial Program is included with the Annual Convention registration. A standalone registration is also available.
The IAIABC 99th Annual Convention will take place at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter Hotel in San Diego, CA. Discounted room rates are available through September 6, although booking soon is recommended as rooms are going fast.
