WHAT: Medication Trends Shaping Workers' Compensation

It's not easy to ensure that the right decision is made so that an injured worker cost-effectively receives the right medication at the right time. Understanding the medication trends that influence cost and utilization, such as compounded medications, chronic pain management, and co-morbid conditions, can help ensure optimal outcomes—clinically and financially.

This session will explore emerging issues based on PBM and industry data. It will examine medication costs and utilization trends and discuss the importance of collaboration to help achieve better outcomes.
