CA Gov Announces Appointment to WCAB

                               

Sacramento, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. announced the following appointment.

Frank Brass, 83, of San Francisco, has been appointed to the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, where he has served since 2001. Brass was an attorney at Parente and Christopher in 2001, a partner at Brass and Zuckerman from 1997 to 2000 and an attorney in private practice from 1995 to 1997. He was a partner at Luttringer and Brass from 1995 to 1997 and from 1976 to 1981 and partner at Greene and Brass from 1988 to 1995 and at Brennan and Brass from 1973 to 1976. Brass was an associate at Charles P. Scully from 1960 to 1969 and at Neyhart Grodin and Beeson from 1970 to 1972. He served as infantryman in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. Brass earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. This position requires Senate confirmation and the compensation is $134,591. Brass is a Democrat.
