CA DWC Posts Additional Adjustments to OMFS (Hospital Outpatient Depts/Ambulatory Surgical Centers)

San Francisco, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the Hospital Outpatient Departments and Ambulatory Surgical Centers section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS) to conform to the quarterly changes in the Medicare payment system as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.  

The order, dated July 3, is the second Administrative Director order for the July 2018 quarterly update to the Hospital Outpatient Departments and Ambulatory Surgical Centers Fee Schedule. It adopts column A of the June 28 update to CMS’ ASC addendum AA and column A of the June 28 update to CMS’ ASC addendum EE for services rendered on or after July 1, 2018. CMS replaced the June 27 files with June 28 updates.  

The Administrative Director update order adopting the OMFS adjustment is effective for services rendered on or after July 1, 2018, and can be found at the DWC website’s OMFS page.
