WorkersCompensation.com Announces “Virtual Claims Kit” To Be Available In September

  • 08/16/10
  • compnewsnetwork

Sarasota, FL (CompNewsNetwork) – WorkersCompensation.com, the leading online resource for workers' compensation information and services, today announced the scheduled launch of its newest product, the “Virtual Claims Kit”. The Virtual Claims Kit will provide all the necessary documents and information needed in all 50 states for employer claims reporting compliance. The VCK will be a fully brand-able service that carriers and employers can use within their client or employee portal.

“Carriers and large employers spend a tremendous amount of time and energy assembling all of the claims materials and information necessary to remain compliant in the various jurisdictions in which they operate”, said Robert Wilson, CEO of WorkersCompensation.com, “We maintain that information on a routine basis, and can make it available in a single, easy to navigate interface.” Additionally, the company's ability to “skin” or brand the service means that it will allow carriers to offer a value added service, while saving on internal management costs.

The Virtual Claims kit will cover all 50 states and will provide Posters, reporting forms, and procedural information, as well as any other information that specific states mandate be provided. Insurance companies and employers subscribing to the service will have the ability to upload letters and other custom content as well.

Much of what will be available in the VCK already exists within the company's compliance & research service, WorkCompResearch. Wilson credits a customer for the idea, saying his company was “approached by an insurer who wanted to license the information we have in WorkCompResearch for the purpose of assembling their claims kits. We realized that we could repurpose the content, and with a relatively mild amount of development, could automate this process for them entirely.”

The Virtual Claims Kit is expected to be available by the end of September. People interested in learning more may email sales@workerscompensation.com or call 866-927-COMP (2667).
