Santa Clara VTA to Receive $20 million in Recovery Funding Following Shooting
San Jose, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) – As light rail service remains at a standstill, the California legislature has approved $20 million for the Santa Clara VTA to aid recovery in the aftermath of the deadliest mass shooting in the Bay Area’s history.
On Monday, local lawmakers announced that the VTA would receive state aid to assist in mental health services for employees, as well as facility repairs and improvements for the railyard.
