2021 National Workers' Compensation And Workplace Safety/Health Conference in Orlando is Announced
Orlando, FL (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Workers' Compensation Institute (WCI) is delighted to announce the dates for its IN PERSON (not virtual) National Workers' Compensation and Workplace Safety/Health Conference for December 11, 2021, to December 15, 2021. Because of a possible concern about lingering Covid issues, the conference has been moved from its customary August dates to December allowing for sufficient time to ensure maximum Covid vaccine availability for all. Additional safety protection will be provided at the conference as needed. The conference has over 500 speakers and 250 breakout sessions (see planned 2021 program), with exhibitors in the past numbering in excess of 350 each year, (see the current committed Exhibitor list for the 2021 conference).
This all-inclusive program, relying upon the unquestioned expertise of individual speakers, presents on a national basis the most comprehensive program available on all aspects of workers' compensation and workplace safety/health. The program represents a collaboration between supporting organizations whose membership represents the leadership for their respective specialties. Significant emphasis in program development has dealt with the events of 2020 and 2021 and the industry's responses to the ever-changing business climate resulting from these events.
Through a “Spirit to Serve” committee, the conference contributes to non-profits/charities and organizations providing educational opportunities and support for all stakeholders within the national workers' compensation and workplace safety/health communities. This includes Give Kids the World, the Florida State University's College of Law Juris Master's Degree and scholarship program related to advanced training for individuals involved in careers related to workers' compensation, the Kids Chance Scholarship Fund for children of injured workers, The Alliance of Women in Workers' Compensation and for the first time this year, the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
We urge all that are interested to register for the conference and make reservations at the host hotel as soon as possible. Host hotel and overflow hotel reservations can be made by clicking here. Travel to and from overflow hotels to the conference will be provided.
