Study Shines Light on MSDs, Opioid Use in Construction Industry
Sarasota, FL (WorkersCompensation) – Musculoskeletal disorders combined with opioid use can be a bad mix, and is especially prevalent among construction workers, according to new research. The authors say the problem, especially in light of the increasing number of older workers in the industry makes it “essential” to reduce MSD risks among construction workers and help injured workers with MSDs find alternatives to opioids.
