Lawyers Secure $3.2 Million To Get Worker Out Of Workers Compensation System
Charleston, SC (WorkersCompensation.com) - -Two South Carolina attorneys have secured at $3.2 million settlement for an employee who wanted out of the workers’ compensation system.
Thomas White of Steinberg Law Firm in Charleston and Peter Brown of Mt. Pleasant, said their client, a former hotel maintenance supervisor who was paralyzed after he lifted a laundry scale while at work, said they secured the confidential settlement from the man’s employer’s insurance carrier.
