Baltimore, MD (WorkersCompensation.com) – The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently announced drastic policy, payment, and quality provision changes for 2021. The announcement has several medical specialties that are taking a direct hit in an uproar with adamant requests to review the proposed changes.
The current conversion factor used to calculate reimbursement rates is $36.09. With the proposed changes for 2021, the conversion factor drops by $3.83 to a rate of $32.26. ...
