Tennessee Rural Hospital Shuts Down Just As County Gets First Cases Of COVID-19
Parsons, TN (WorkersCompensation.com) – A large percentage of rural hospitals in Tennessee were already in danger of closing prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, however Decatur county has lost its only hospital just as the first positive cases of the virus are starting to occur. According to a report from NPR News Decatur County General was due to close on April 15th, , and no estimated reopening date was given.
