Farmington Hills, MI (WorkersCompensation.com) - Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company has named Steve Donnelly as chief claims officer.
In his previous role as vice president of claims, Donnelly made advances in claims specialization, including a litigation management team focused on delivering better claims outcomes. He also contributed to enhancing Amerisure's superior customer service through innovative claims technology such as texting with adjusters and robotic processing for claims intake.
“In his new role, Steve will continue to enhance the claims experience for our Partners For Success® agencies and policyholders,” said Greg Crabb, Amerisure's president and chief executive officer. “His leadership and expertise will be an outstanding addition to our executive team.”
Prior to joining Amerisure, Steve served as vice president and claims manager at QBE for their Midwest region. He spent 10 years prior to that at Ohio Casualty as a regional vice president among other roles.
Donnelly received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
