Eleven Hospitals In Multiple States File For Bankruptcy Amid Allegations Of Fraud
Kansas City, MO (WorkersCompenstion.com) –Eleven hospitals across several states filed bankruptcy following troubling reports of not meeting payroll, defaulting on property taxes and allegations of improper billing and mismanagement. All the hospitals are owned by affiliates of hospital investment and management company EmpowerHMS, which is owned by Miami businessman Jorge Perez.
