Highly Paid General Surgeon to Pay $4.25 Million In Whistleblower Lawsuit
Lancaster, PA (WorkersCompensation.com) – A Pennsylvania surgeon who was paid “exorbitantly more than the fair market value of his services” will pay millions to resolve allegations of false billing and kickbacks. The Justice Department announced that Lancaster, Penn., general surgeon, Glenn A. Kline, D.O. agreed to the civil settlement at a cost of $4,25 million. He and his surgical practice were accused of violating the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
